Title:
Plan of the town of Kem, Arkhangelsk Province
Subject:
urban history
Description:
The town of Kem is located on a river of the same name. The Kem flows along the southern edge of town into the White Sea (which you cannot see, but trust us, it lies just east of where the plan ends). The main parts of town are clustered along the water on what looks to be an island between the Kem and Big Pudas rivers. Further north the Pusta and a handful of unnamed "rivers" flow into the bay as well.
