The fortress is sprawling, with well-articulated walls. The inner space is less defined but contains unmarked buildings as well as gunpowder storage (D), a military prison (E), provisions storehouses (M), and barracks (N).
The fortress sits (on an island?) in between the town proper and the larger fortress to the north.
