Timber

The timber trade data is striking in so many ways. At this point I am sure you are adept at reading these maps without any guidance from me, but I cannot resist: note the differences between the geographies of loading and unloading, the predominant place of timber trading on southwestern Dnepr-system rivers (as opposed to those of the northeast), and the nearly ubiquitous presence of the timber trade (as opposed to many of the other regionally-based goods).
